So, since the OD-1 is out I' ve been wondering about how that Overdrive mechanism by Lee Williams actually works, and how a flipper can fold into the spine and not pop out at the front to form a finger guard.

Does anyone maybe have a diagramm, or feels like explaining to me how that works?

i will have to take some pics at some point, but the design is interesting

im to out of it to explain it right now lol.

I haven't torn it down yet, but I'm guessing its a cam/piston drive. It's a separate piece from the blade as was the flipper on Lee's ENER-G models.

Regardless of how it works, its really slick!
