The 1660CGT was done in S30V, IIRC.

After another look, have you or someone else sanded the scales on that one?

Yes, unfortunately the owner sanded the scales.

I bought it anyways because it is the only one I have ever seen for sale.

All (250ish?) of the CGT's I've seen have had that high hollow grind with the satin finish. The difference in poolhustler's was the finish on the scales. As he said, someone sanded down the coarse G10 to something a little smoother.

Still a sweet knife and a great slicer. Nice score poolhustler!
