Leek clip issues

Just got a Kershaw Leek today, great knife. It came tip down and I removed clip to switch it to tip up. Well the screws WILL NOT thread into the holes. So I put it back to tip down and only one screw will go in. Is this a common problem? The clip is off now because I was getting pretty worked up over a screw lol. I may add a deep carry clip soon I'm not liking how much knife shows in pocket. Other then those two things this is nice knife.

Screws should thread into the holes from where they were initially removed. You may have muscled it and stripped something by the sounds of it. You can send it to Kershaw and have them look at it, or you can ask them for a new pocket clip and screws. Another clip is also fine, but you might want to figure out why the screws that we once in there no longer work. Was the knife new when you bought it or was a used knife you got somewhere?

i want to say some kershaws have loc tite on the threads might have worked them to hard

Emailed Kershaw about the issue hopefully they'll send a new clip and screws.
