Ok so i just got a leek in (black and red handle with a black blade). ~note: the only other spring assist blade i have owned is a sog twitch 2)

first impressions of fit and finnish

-great lock up, much tighter in open close direction and side to side than my sog twitch 2 and i was content with that knife

-wonderfully easy to operate.

-pocket clip flows very well with the knife, a little big for my tastes but looks fine. only issue i have is to have tip up carry i have to swap it around and the end of the handle will stick up a lot more, i have not tried it yet but i think i will not like it sitting that way depending on the pocket i keep it on

-very nice and sharp

-comfortable grip shape

as of now only complaint is that the blade comes all the wya back and does not have a cut out before the back end to keep stones and the rassco from being damaged but small issue

i will try to post back in a few months with more use under my belt

few questions though,
is the marking on the rassco the manufacture date?
how does the torsion bar work and where is it located, i was trying to find a diagram or something but i cannot figure out where it is?

Was this a new purchase?
I've never seen a black/red handled Leek with a BLACK blade.
It could be changed out of course, just never seen it offered as a Kershaw item.

Mike, I know you're going to want one now that you know there were only 489 shipped!!:D I was doing some research a couple weeks ago and saw some. Check your PM.

Cheers,
