About a month ago, I got a new Kershaw Random Leek, ever since I got it, it has issues. First thing is that when i tryed to tighten the pivot, the whole pivot assembly turns and not the screw. Also, the blade isn't centered at all. (i'm not sure if thats normal on the leek), And the 2 aluminum slabs that make up the handle seem to move slightly, and when i tryed tightening the handle screws, the AO stops working. It seems to work very inconsistently, sometimes it just flies open, and other times it won't even open all the way. Also, i'm not sure if this is normal, but if i push on the framelock it can move all the way to the other side of the handle and then get stuck. I have had many other kershaw knives and they were perfect, this one just seems odd, But too be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the assembly of this particular knife. I Still love kershaw though :) I'm wondering if any of these problems can be fixed by using the warranty...

Yup, just send it in. The pivot not turning is a loctite problem, you can fix this by putting duct tap on your left finger, stick side out, and locking the flat circular side with the tape, while unscrewing with your right hand. Dunno about the handle problem, I would send it in. Kershaw's warranty is the best in the biz, they'll take care of ya!

a trick with the Pivot that Rich J told me was to sandwich a piece of rubber band and tighten the pocket clip onto the pivot. then you can break loose the screw and then tighten it down from there.

the handles screws are not supposed to be tight. as far as stuff moving around, definitely something wrong.
