Leek Rehandle

I did try the search function and came up empty handed.

I have a plain old Kershaw Leek 1660 basic model that I have been having a love/hate relationship with.

In the plus column:

Opening
Blade
Blade shape
Length

In the negative column:

Handle/Scales

Is there anyone that enhances the handles of the Leek? I don't just want replacement scales as I would like a "fatter" knife. Some material added to the slippery scales that would afford a better grip and a thicker knife. G10, wood or whatever but I would like an enhanced Leek.

Is it doable?

TIA

Hallo Steve.
I have sent jvan a message.
As you would know with Kershaw's assisted opening only overlays are possible.
To replace scales would be a nightmare and requite some intricate milling.
This would make the whole exercise just not worth the effort.
Thanks mate.
