I'm considering getting into a custom or two in the not distant future. However, I don't want to spend that kind of money on a right handed knife. Who makes good, custom lefty folders?

Not on folders.Isn’t it just the sheath which makes it righty or lefty?
True dat.Not on folders.
Properly oriented lock, no extra screw holes or filler tabs for reversible clips, and often only a thumb stud on the correct side. Most people can use locks with either hand though. It's mostly just the concept that if you are going to have something custom made, you shouldn't have to compromise on the small details like that.I'm curious about this, because some knives are considered ambidextrous. Is there anything particularly special about a custom left handed folding knife as opposed to a righty?
