left handed folder needed

I'm looking for some new blades. I think I'm in the right place. :D

I want a "big knife" and a "small knife" - those are very relative, hence the quotes. For "big" I've picked out a Becker BK2; I think it's pretty good bang for the buck.

I'm looking for a smaller 3" blade sized knife. I like the ESEE Izula, Rat 3, etc... but I think I'd rather have a folder... Spyerco seems to have the biggest selection of those so here I am.

Left handed folders? 100 bucks?

i know its out of your price range, and you already have your "big" knife, but you should look into a Lefty Military while they are still around!!

I think for a knife that size I'd go with the ESEE H.E.S.T folder. I'll probably end up with the HEST or RC3 for belt carry when I'm hiking on task.

I'm really digging the dragonfly and the Delica. I've never held a Spyder, so my first one from them is going to be a lesser expensive one

I can already tell I'll have both the dragonfly and the Delica.

Handle before you buy. The ESEE Hest is great, but a little pricey. The Izula folder should be less expensive, and there is a lefty version too.

The Para, should you like the lock, should fit the bill. Also consider the Stretch.

Depends how close to 3" you want to say and whether $100 is a "hard ceiling" or not. CF/ZDP-189 Caly 3 can be found for under $110. Stretch II has a 3.5" blade, but is only slightly larger than the Delica when closed. Manix II is extremely robust, but it's also heavy and takes a bit more pocket space. G-10 Dragonfly and Poliwog are excellent knives, but well under 3". UKPK would work if you can live without a lock. Native or Delica would the least expensive options and both are right around 3".

i have a spyderco manix (black g-10) NIB for sale or trade, its a fully ambidextrous knife with spydercos ball bearing lock , a reversible pocket clip, and obviosly ambidextrous opening

I liked the ffg delicas a whole lot...i have one of the g10 versions which is really nice. I like the smaller spydercos such as the UKPK, urbans or delicas. I dont own any of the urbans, but they seem really cool. the g10 dragonfly is also ambidex and a nice small blade.

I LOVE the Delica. I really dig the FFG and don't think I want anything but FFG from now on :)

The Urban looks... EXPENSIVE for what it is.

Aaron, just wait till Spyderco Sage 3 hits the markets... It should have nice ambi lock (bullet lock or what was it), FFG leafshaped blade, probably S30V... But don't overlook some nice hollow ground blades. Spyderco makes some meanest slicers hollow ground. Michael Walker, Contofante 3 and 4 (4 is disco'ed) and Bob Terzuola slipit to name few I've heard to be mean slicer.

I own Bob Terzuola and that is one mean pocket slicer.

The FRN UKPK's should be pretty nice, afforable slipits that have hollow ground GIN-1 blades. They go under $40, which is good price for USA made Spyderco.
