I just snagged one of the few available off the big auction site.

Will be here Monday!

BTW Alecia at CRK said today these are on a 3.5 month back order. If you want one now I'd grab it.

Just my luck I impulse bought a plain lefty Sebby 25 a couple of weeks ago. I had no idea these micartas were even made yet.

wish I knew, but I'm going to get a Damascus 25 for my birthday. I can handle the double lugs well and I have a lefty plain 25 and micarta and CF 25s with right pocket clips. I love the 25.

OMG I want that knife!!! Wow. Is the seller legit?

Sure is. I bought a micarta Insingo and a couple of Emersons from him in the past. He shipped it out later the day I bought mine. He's out of Austin, I've been tracking mine and it's 30 miles away from me right now and will be here Monday.

I looked and could not find any anywhere else, but Alicia at CRK assured me they were out, but they were on a 3.5 month back order and they did not have any themselves in stock.

Go for it! You'll be glad you did, and not have to wait months this time, only days! :D

Just ordered one this morning. Will be my first Sebenza and first time using a dedicated lefty frame lock and not just having to adapt to a righty lock style.

Pretty excited about both of those things in what might very well be the first of a few more lefty Sebenzas.

Congrats, you will be happy with the lefty, i think it makes a big difference

Lebowski22, congrats! You should like it, they are a very solid knife and if you've never been able to hold one yet you'll see, they really are like a solid one-piece unit when opened. No play or flex anywhere.

Good thing is, they deserve the reputation they have of a fine precision instrument. All CRKs are.

Bad thing is, they (CRKs) are extremely addicting! Which is still a good thing.

Which version did you get, a plain or a micarta-inlaid handled one?

i was extemely lucky and was able to get the Micarta Inlay Lefty 25. I had a hard enough time just finding a lefty 25 without the inlays and was all ready to purchase one of the few lefty 25's i found or a lefty Star Tac but i decided to do one more search this morning.

After i was about to give up i found a dealer page that advertised the micarta lefty 25, the only dealer page i even saw the knife on. I emailed the guy and he said he had a single unit in stock. I paid him promptly and i should recieve to knife on Tuesday. I am more then a little excited about this one. I have wanted a Sebenza for some time, and have been a fan of micarta anything since i started getting serious about knives.

i have never held or seen a full size Sebenza in person, my work buddy has a small righty Sebenza and its pretty fantastic so i expect this to pretty much be my dream folder.

I envision the possibility of more down the road, i have recently realized that i would rather have a handfull of truly excellent knives that i can take immense pride in thier ownership and use instead of 30 very good knives.

That Star Tac and a small lefty still beckons, but those will have to wait. I am sure i will be content with the 25 for as long as i have a left hand. Thanks for this thread by the way, without it i would have never known the micarta lefty options even existed.

I got my lefty micarta 25 today, it's fantastic. Love it and super happy for my first Sebenza. I feel I made the right choice and it exceeds my expectations.

I also got I regular lefty 25 today to my surprise. I thought I had cancelled the order but I must have made a mistake. Now I have to scramble and sell off some other stuff to compensate.

I planned on just selling the non micarta 25 but now that I have it in hand it's going to be really difficult to part with it. Rats, part of me wishes I didn't like the Sebenza so much. I might be in trouble. If I ever come across a lefty 21 large insingo with micarta I'm in real trouble for sure. Glad to be onboard.

That's funny, as I inadvertently got both new lefty 25s within a matter of days as well, a plain and a 25 micarta. I was thinking of selling the plain after I found the micarta but there is no way I can bring myself to do it either.

And yes, you are in trouble with the micarta lefty 21. I have one and it is fantastic!

Highly recommended also, it's kinda like a gentleman's folder in comparison to a 25 (to me at least) but it definitely has an elegance to it that is truly unique. And it is ready for duty as well, you won't feel "under knifed" if that was the only one in your pocket.

Good Luck, and congrats on a beautiful pair of new CRKs!

Sell off the Cold Steels! :)

sold my Lefty Seb 21 cause i was in despirate need of money (bills from being laid off) and i miss it every day, want to pick up a 25 in either Micarta or regular, have to sell off some ar15 parts i have still laying around and get one in my pocket and the grip out lol

Still loving the 25 micarta. Moved my plain to pick up a lefty 21 Micarta.

Man, these are fantastic. I can't decide which one I like more. Both so great, I guess I don't have to.

Now I want to sell off some other stuff and get a lefty Starbenza.
