I was wondering if the older regular Sebenza was made in a left handed version. I've searched the net out of curiosity and can't find any. I don't even know for sure if they were made. I've seen the classic in left handed and I have several of the 21 version in lefty.

Was just wondering if the older ones could be found in southpaw. I mean, there's no point in looking for something that never existed. :)

Yes, I have had several of them in lefty. I only have a small one now with a annual wood large in lefty.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. I just wasn't able to find any evidence online.

I'll have to keep my eye out. Perhaps I'll even find one available. :D

The LH regular Sebs came in all the usual flavors, just smaller numbers. My only current regular is a LH small with a BG-42 blade. They're out there, just require more looking.

I had hard time finding one (Small Seb 21 in my case) but they do exist!

One bonus, if you care, is that the one I found didn't have "Idaho Made" stamp even though it was made in Dec 2010 maybe because they had prepared handles for LH models from a while ago.

Good luck!

I think onlyfineknives.com has a large left hand regular in the native american ccg and crosshairs pattern. Very nice!

I started buying in Nov of last year and of the 8 I've snagged only one of the 3 large I got has the Idaho Made on the handle.
I have another small 21 on the way. I'll find out if it's clean or not when it gets here. The pics showed nothing on the handle but it might have been a stock photo and not one of the actual knife.

Just FYI, mine was Made on Dec 14th 2010 (small 21, no inly, single stud). I think there are many factors in addition to being LH. Maybe larger model goes out the door quicker than small so they ran out of non-stamped handle sooner?

The picture on dealer's site didn't show the stamp but I figured it doesn't reflect the actual item in stock. I would have been happy either way though.

Maybe the small 21 you are getting now won't have the stamp considering it's the same configuration as mine which is quite "young."

Honestly, after receiving the one large with the stamp, it's not that big of a deal to me. I'd rather not have it but it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might.
I have three small 21 without and 2 small tanto without. The other 2 large I have are without the stamp. It's all good.
I've just decided that the stamped large is going to be my field folder. At least once this blasted cold weather leaves. :D
One of the small 21's is my EDC.

Yes, though he's looking for a regular, not a 21...they were disco'd in 2008 so none of them will have the "Idaho Made" legend.

I would so love to get a large lefty regular!!! I like the blade shape on the regulars better than that on the 21s and classics
