After years of using my Busse Basic model, and loving it,I have decided to move up to first class, and get the Battle Mistress E. As a lefty, can a left handed Busse sheath be had? Are they leather or Kydex? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

David, you can have anything your heart desires for your Battle Mistress

Check out Eric's work at On-Scene Tactical (excellent concealex sheaths, left-right-sideways-upside down...his sheaths can practically do it all)
...or, if you like leather check out Kenny Rowe's work. He can do just about anything from a leather aspect. If you talk with Andy Prisco, he has templates on loan to Kenny and there's no need to send off your blade

The regular cordura/kydex sheath is completely ambidextrous.

Thank you all for the info. I will try to get home from work in time to call in an order tommorrow. What are current lead times and business hours? I did not know what the standard sheath was made of. I missed that on the website. Thanks again.

Well my first Busse (a BA-E) is on its way and I'm pretty jazzed

I'm planning on ordering a kydex sheath from Eric once he gets the important business out of the way, but does anyone have a link to the person who makes the custom leather Busse sheaths (Kenny Rowe?). I really think this knife deserves a really nice piece of leather

Thanks in advance

I work for Kenny Rowe part-time. He doesn't have a website (yet), but his phone number is (870) 777-8216. He's there from about 8 am - 4pm CST

Hey David...

Just as Strabs has said,,lefty is not a problem...

Being a Southpaw myself in the Very strange world of right handed people, I made sure my sheaths can be used by us Normal people as well...

Normark -- Thanks for the Info.. I did get home in time to call Jerry, and order my BM E. I also ordered a Paul's Hatchet at the same time. This was before they were even announced. I got the BME already, and I love it. Jerry explained the ambidextrous features to me. I would like to see what you offer as well. Do you have a website?
Dave.
