I am interested in getting a spyderco as my EDC. My knife budget is limited to $50.00 and I am left handed. Any thoughts on a left handed Spyderco?

The delicas and enduras are ambidextrous, the back lock can be operated the same with both hands same with the opening hole, and the clips are reversable:thumbup:

Even though they are liner locks the Resilience and Persistence are well sorted for lefties.

I'm a lefty and I like the way a "righthanded" liner lock works compared to a lefty model. I've used both a BM nitrous stryker (RH) and reg military (RH), also a lefty military and didnt like using the liner on the lefty model. Though the problem was they didnt have reversible pocket clips and were tip down only so i just ditched the pocket clips!

That said the tenacious and persistence seem like they would work well for lefties.

I'm left handed and have been carrying a Delica for years. I also have a Tenacious and Persistence and they both work fine. The Tenacious is a little harder because part of the opening hole is obscured by the liner but it's nothing that would stop me from buying it. It didn't since I have one. ;)

I prefer the Delica though.

Get a FFG brown delica or endura...the extra couple of $ is worth it...the vg10 steel out performs many other knives...its just awesome!

For me, being a lefty as well I'v found righty liner locks can sometimes unlock with a tight grip cuz the pressure when squeezing is the direction that unlocks the liner.... Just sayin. I prefer lockback or compression with Spyderco.
