How many of you are left handed? Right handed? How many of you can or do chop or use a knife with both hands?

I'm very left handed. So much so, that I had to learn how to make sheaths and holsters. Basically, I don't use sharp tools in my weak hand, only left handed. I have tried on occasion to shoot weak handed, and have experienced limited (very limited) success.

Right handed, I guess I can use a knife left-handed, but the results... probably aren't so good.

Left-handed. It would be interesting to know what percentage of the population is left or right handed, and what makes a knife company decide to make a knife only optimum for right handers. I have drooled over more cool knives only to not buy them because 1.) the pocketclip is not reversible, 2.) or worse, the thumb stud is only on the right side.

Fine slicing and branch lopping with the left, chopping with the right. I also use scissors with my right hand, but write left handed.

Lefty, can chop and cut with both hands. Better at knife and axe throwing with right + can only shoot a bow right handed (had right thumb joint mushed with a wooden sword in college). Fine cutting tasks usually lefty.

+1 on Southpaw! :D We're the only one's in our "right" minds! :D

Actually I'm kind of ambi, but the majority of the time I'm most definately a lefty.

I'm left handed, but like most leftys I'm somewhat ambidextrous. Not with knives though, I always use my left.
I can use a pistol pretty good with my right.
For some reason I shoulder a rifle like a righty, maybe because I'm right eye dominant.

Proud lefty here! I do most of my knife work with my left hand. Although I to shoot like a righty.I have some right handed poket clipped folders that I carry and have learned to draw and open them with my right hand and transfer to my left. I also have some lefty dedicated folders that work a little quicker for me.
My current favorite is titanium locker from P.J. Tomes, the clip and thumbstud are set up for left hand opening. I also have a slippie from Chris Crawford with the nail mark set up for left hand opening that sees quite a bit of pocket time.

I'm ambidextrous but leaning towards "lefty-ness", lol. I can do most things with both hands but do tend to do certain things with certain hands. I can write left and right handed. I prefer to shoot revolvers left handed but semiautos right handed. I'm comfortable shooting long guns either way but most long-guns are right handed so thats a moot point.however I frequently shoot pellet/bb guns left handed, no flying spent casings to worry about. I bat/golf/cast/throw darts/knives lefthanded. I throw better left handed but can catch with either hand. I carry knives on the left side or setup for left handed draw, i chop left handed but tend to do precision carving right handed. But even with these preferences i can consciously decide to use my "opposite" hand at an activity and be comfortable using that hand fairly quickly. Kinda mixed up i guess, lol!

A supplemental question should be are you left or right eye dominant?
