lefthand leather sheath for SJ (pic)

hi all,
just wanted to show you my new selfmade leather cloth for this fine SJ Le that I got last summer. It didn't hav a sheath with it, so I made one.
Here's the pic.
two days ago my INFI # 10 flew in, a ZTNO - leather sheath will be done next, and maybe also another one for my AD, all lefthanded.

Nice work porkupine! Good smooth edges and nice color. Do you hand stitch or machine?

Looking good Arno, looking real good. Hand stitching is a time consuming exercise isn't it? :D
 
yeah, progunner, It took exactly the time of a soccer game plus break in TV, i.e. 105 minutes.

Thanks, guys, that encourages me to make some more. Yes, I think it's a god given talent. I love working with leather. I have made quite a number of leather things, most of them for my personal needs like tool bags etc., but none of them that good. Got some real good advices from the guys of the forums, who also make leather sheaths.
My biggest thing so far was a backpack, all hand stitched im many hours.
Now I close, something pulls me to my workshop, where the leather sheath for the ZT NO wants to be finished...
