Lefty Dual Thumb Studs Question

Hey guys, I'm a lefty and own a large right handed Sebenza. Was thinking about sending it to CRK to have dual thumb lugs installed assuming it will make left handed opening possible.

Do any left handed folks have experience with this and does it make opening them possible with your left hand? It doesn't appear to have a lot of room with the lock bar so I wanted some opinions before I send it off.

Thanks!

Yes it does make it possible to open with either hand. I try to make sure my RH CRK's have double lugs. The only one I couldn't open with both hands was a RH Umnumzaan. Had to get the left handed Umnumzaan.

Cool. Thanks for the replies fellows. I'll have to send my Raindrop Sebenza back for the double lug.

The double thumb stud right handed Sebenzas are not very easy to open left handed. The stud is very close to the lockbar making access to the stud difficult for me, not impossible but difficult.

I have a lefty small Sebenza and they are very nice. Actually just sold a lefty tanto Zaan.

The righty Sebenza in question is a Raindrop CGG that I really like. Comfortable to use but hoped a dual stud would help with the ability to open with my left hand.

I understand where your coming from. I have a lefty umm and I love it! I bought a rh Sebenza 21 cgg expanded metal and it was beautiful but had to sell it because it was too hard to open even with dual lugs.
