Just how lefty friendly are either the 0200 or 0300 series ZT's?

I figured that I had better ask here before I plunked down the money for a green ZT0301, and then come to find out that I can't operate the knife with just my left hand. I assume that the 0200 is easier to operate with the left hand, what with it being a locking liner and all. Or am I wrong?

(There are no ZT dealers around here, so it's not like I can just swing by a store and check them out.. ;) )

Any Southpaws out there that own either of these knives care to chime in. Thanks!

they are drilled at all four corners, ive found frame and liner locks just as easy with the left hand as with the right. you might want to check out the MUDD. its version of the Hawk lock is one of the more ambidextrous models out there.

I have the ZT 0200, and I find it pretty lefty-friendly. The liner grips your thumb easily, but I will say it's a good shove to make it move (not that I'm complaining--I'd rather it be that way). The clip swaps 'round, so you can set it up for any carry you'd like.

I'd considered getting the 0300, and still might--not sure.

Best regards,
berzerker

I have an 0300, and I can operate it just fine. I am going to assume that you've been able to operate other right-handed linerlock/framelock knives successfully before, but I have never had a problem with my 0300's (or other righty framelock knives).

Both the 0200 and 0300 allow you to position the clip for lefty carry, and I have been carrying and using mine left-handed since day one.

Go buy one. You need it.

I can manipulate an 0200/0300 with my left hand with no problem. The 4 way carry also makes both knives more lefty friendly.

Thanks, Guys!

I am going to order up a ZT0301. If I can't get used to operating the frame lock with my left hand, I can always sell it for pretty much what I paid for it... ;)
