Lefty knives!!

I've been using pocket knives since I was 8 (11 years ago) and I've only just this week come across a knife I can open and close left handed just as easily as I could right handed. This knife is the Benchmade Griptilian. Obviously, other Axis lock knives with a reversible clip will perform the same, but what other lefty-friendly knives are out there? What other lock designs cater just as well to us as our right-handed friends? Do any of you know of serrations that were made for lefties? Any frame/liner locks made for us??

theres some chris reeve lefties is your looking to go higher class and also its a titanium frame:D

Spyderco has a few. The Manix has a ball-bearing lock similar to the Axis lock. The Sage 3 has a bolt action lock that functions similarly to the Axis lock. When I say functions I am talking about how your hands would need to manipulate the lock. I believe those two have reversible clips. Also, there is a Spyderco Military (liner lock) in left hand version. Some guys think the PM2 with its compression lock is fairly lefty-friendly. I have a Kershaw Speed Bump with a thumbstud lock that is lefty friendly, not sure about the clip placement options. The R.A.M. by Kershaw has the Hawk Lock which is lefty friendly.

Benchmade, and Spyderco offer a number of knives that can be set up for lefty carry. Chris Reeve makes dedicated lefty knives as well as righty knives also. I am also a lefty :)

but how many people are left handed??? if there is not that many why should the knife makers make them?? I have one in my stock. it is made by camuillis knifes.

The figure I see repeatedly is that 18% of the population are lefties.

The rat 1 has a quad clip mount and can be oped lefty but the the frame lock and serrations aren't. (you can buy it without serrations)

Why deal with right handed knives? Get a fully ambidextrous or an entirely left handed knife.

Here are a few that I like to carry:

my Southpaw'dedness has spawned a love of chisel grinds and fixed blades, a lot of "traditional" chisel grinds were ground on the left to match aesthetically to the stamps etc. fixed blades have little to no discrimination against us as well.

Any lockback knife.
Or the spyderco Military comes in a left handed version. And Im pretty sure you can get the full serrated version too.

Thanks for the CRK suggestions as well as the link ABCDEF but I'm pretty poor, so I'll probably have to go the Spyderco route ;)

Thanks guys. I didn't realize any production knives existed that were made exclusively for lefties!

As said above, about 18%. Knife makers make some pretty crazy things that I'm sure less than 1/5th of the population would go for, such as the shark knife:

I am right handed, but i like to mess around and train my left hand to open and close my folders. A couple more knives that I think are easy to open and close left handed are

AG Russell Featherlite (I have two of them)

Sage I

Kershaw Chill
