hey guys! Need some input...

I recently purchased a brand new Large Lefty drop point Sebenza 21 with Micarta inlays. Purchased it from an authorized online dealer.

Couple of random questions:
1) The date on the birth card is May 9, 2016, however, the date codes on the handle slabs is “C-14” I know CRK only runs lefty sebenzas a few times a year, but is it normal for there to be such a gap in those dates?

2) Also, one of the date etchings looks really faint, is that normal? Guessing it is...

3) On the birth card, it looks like someone put a strip of white out over the Rockwell rating and wrote a new number.

Just looking for some info on this one... everything look good here to you guys? Thanks in advance!

All normal.

My August 2018 WC 21 has C 2017 Handles I believe but 18 blade. Probably due to being slightly limited like Lefty models.

Your birth card has the RC adjusted because during this time they were finishing up transitioning to the new 59-60 treatment and we're using up that run of birth cards.

Also just like yours. My lock slab has a slightly deeper milling for the date than the face slab.

I can't see the pics because the hosting site is blocked at work, but everything in your description sounds fine.

It's all good. I have one that's over a year apart. I got a Wilson Combat Sebenza, it was sitting on the shelf so long, the grease dried up. Guess not many people but Left Handed WC's. The bday card is fine, it use to read 58/59. I like the older cards that were mostly hand written. CRK has increased the left hand production since yours was built. I see more now than a few years ago.

yeah, the grease had dried up in this one too... a little TLC and she's back up and ready to go!

The lefty’s don’t fly off the shelf, which for us lefty’s taking a second look, more times than not it’s still there
