I am not a sheath maker, I just make sheaths! I'll get that out of the way right now..
However my buddy saw some of the kydex pocket sheaths I made for my Izula, BK-11, and a Mora, and wanted something a bit more elaborate for his Zero Tolerance 0121 fixed blade. If you're familiar with the stocker, its vertical carry via MOLLE attachment, and it's really designed for right handed folks. He's a lefty, and wanted a horiztontal cross draw for when he's at work. This is what I came up with.
The main body was made from one piece, folded over, and then trimmed after setting the 4 rivets. The teklok attaches to a separate piece of kydex that bolts to the main body via 3 chicago screws. The retention is somewhat adjustable via those 3 chicago screws, as the teklok mount is pulled into the main body it deforms the back side which increases the tension on the knife.
This is the most ambitious kydex project i've done to date, and though it's not perfect, i'm relatively happy with the results. Took about 5 hours.
Opinions/criticism are always welcome!
