For the first time all four of the Legacy Series knives created by John White, MS. were in one place. Preston brought them all to Jerry Fisk's Micro show this past weekend to display for everyone at the show. With a lot of help, I was able to get some shots of the knives all together and then of each individually. The pictures don't do the justice by any means, but they are worth being seen together for the first time, as John had requested.

Coop has some really good pictures of each of them on his thread, I believe. I thought it was great that Preston brought them to the show and I was honored not only to see and hold the knives, but even more so to take pictures of them.

Each and everyone of them a masterpiece. Sadly John passed before I got one of his knives. He was due to start one for me just this month !

^^^Right on Ken. Well said.

That is an impressive collection. Every one of them so perfectly done.

True Masterpieces each and every one. An exceptional talent and a great bloke that will be missed by everyone.
Thank you logan for the pics and Preston for bringing them together.
Cheers Keith

Thanks Logan. Thanks Preston.

I've handled every one of them, and each one gave pause and admiration. Now they give pause and reflection.

Like a great song, they can be seen over and over and still bring a smile.

Nicely composed.

Best,

Coop

Amazing work by an extremely talented maker.

Truly a pleasure to see these all together.. Thanks..

Wonderful to see these from John. Work so full of talent and joy from a man at the top of his game, at the top of his craft, among the giants in his field. Thanks so much for putting this together.

Gorgeous works.
I never met Mr. White, but the impression of him that I got through this site was of someone I wanted to know. Nice, helpful and down to earth. Thank you for sharing.

Look at those Damascus patterns. Look at that dogbone pattern.

There are a lot of fine knifemakers out there today, but how many are making forged fixed blade knives at this level of attention to detail and with this kind of quality ornamentation to them? Not many of which I am aware. It is not an accident that he won so many awards in such a short time.

Logan,

Really nice photos of some beautiful knives.

I especially like your close-ups that show the engraving and John's exceptional fit and finish.

Logan, thank you for taking the time to do detail shots of these wonderful knives. John's influence will be seen and felt in the knife community FAR into the future...that's a legacy anyone could be proud to call their own!! A true master craftsman and one of the finest people I've ever had the honor to call a friend. RIP Brother!

It's hard to put into words the gravity of seeing the 4 knives together. As a knifemaker, it's simply humbling. He was an amazing craftsman and great man.

Awesome thread. THANKS for getting the pics up, and a big thanks to Preston for bringing them to the show. John was a master in every sense of the word.
