Legal auto?

and started wondering. If you have it set to the folder, instead of fully automatic, would this be legal to carry? I could see why it would and would not be legal. What is your take on it, guys?

I doubt it. There have been court rulings that a broken switchblade is still a switchblade.

I'd imagine the capability alone could get you in trouble in an area that is not auto friendly. It'd be an interesting argument because of the "on/off" bit but not one I'd personally want to undertake. Cool idea though.

Different locations have different laws. In NY, to cause the manufacture of a switchblade is illegal, so this on/off system would be illegal. Check your local laws....
