Howdy
I know it may seem a little far fetched, but upon looking up in the state laws whether or not such a device is legal or not, the definition of "club" stood out to me. In everyday layman's culture, I have no idea how a Stinger could be classified as a club, but I'd still like to see what yall think about the legal definition of a club in Texas and how it may or may not apply to the Stinger. Heck, I'll even quote the knuckles definition to be thorough.
Reference link. It's a .pdf, and I'm looking at page 42 and onward, specifically.
The way I see it, the actual definition of a club might fit the Stinger, but the list of examples certainly doesn't illustrate something akin to the Stinger's design, but I don't know if that has any bearing or not.
Thanks, yall.

(1)"Club" means an instrument that is specifically designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death by striking a person with the instrument, and includes but is not limited to the following:
(A) blackjack;
(B) nightstick;
(C) mace;
(D) tomohawk.
(8)"Knuckles" means any instrument that consists of finger rings or guards made of a hard substance and that is designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death by striking a person with a fist enclosed in the knuckles.
