Hi everyone, it was suggested that I post the project that I'm working on. It is the Master Sword from "The Legend of Zelda" series. I've been an obsessed fan for ages, and after seeing Tony Swattons build on Man at Arms, I had to make one. The blade runs 42" from tip to end of tang, 2.5" at its widest point, 1/4" thick and is 80CRV2 steel. So far it's been in progress since the begining of March. Ive used stock removal technique with an angle grider for cut out and grinding, hand router with solid carbide end mills for creating the "fuller", and will be using lost wax cating for the hilt.
