Legit Benchmade - Grizzly Creek?

Dug up an old knife my ex-wife gave me and couldn't find a model on it. Eventually discovered it should be a Grizzly Creek 15060-2. I believe she got it off eBay. Is there anyway to confirm its authenticity? I am not really a religious person so I was thinking about sending it to Benchmade to have a new blade installed to get rid of the scripture engraving she had done on it.

Yes best of my knowledge its a legit model, I know they made those somewhat recently. The hook was a copy of the triage series for cutting clothes from trauma victims and was used a a gut hook on this which was a part I think of the hunt line.

If gonna use it I wouldn’t worry over blade replacement and just grind the scriptures off, cant be very deep

Thanks! Yeah definitely going to try that first. It'll be a hunt and sailing knife so it doesn't have to be too pretty. Appreciate the feedback.
