Legit Kershaw Knife or CCC?

Hello BladeForum and fellow knife owners! I am new to the knife world and i found a kershaw scallion knife online for sale but i have never seen it packaged as such and i was wondering if it could be a knock off version?

It takes a while to find all the subforums.

Legitimate Kershaw. The model number will be appended with a "X" on the packaging, indicating a big-box store run, sans typical Kershaws box (clam-pack only).

Yeah, what they said. Currently 71 products offered in clamshell packaging.
Big stores like to hang things out in the open for folks to see.

It's real. I've had two Scallions and they've performed as well as can be reasonably expected at their sizes and price points. Both are still in service with various people (5 or so years later).
