Here's a few pics from my Sunday morning fly fishing fun on the Lehigh River. A cool 36 degrees at sun-up, but a great morning to be out. The river gorge trail runs for another 10-15 miles of good fishing.

A good morning of nymphing until I was attacked by this vengeful trout :)

Nothing but good things to say about my new Fishpond Blue River chest/lumbar pack. I'm really liking the zip down fly bench - very convenient:

Other tools of the trade including an LB5 to slice up lunch :)

Hope everyone had a good weekend and, as always, I look forward to the trip reports and pics.

I drive through that area often and drool over the thought of getting out the fly rig and fishing. Of course I can't stop long enough so I just have to dream.
You lucky dog. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics! I see a few bead head wolly buggers, one of my favorite patterns for covering water in the spring.

Great trip! Man, I finally got out my pack flyrod (Emmrod) and attended a church outing up in Pisgah National Forest. It was a small stream and I just couldn't land any trout, but had a couple hits and saw some little brookies. I'll have to get my pictures up later, but way too tired right now. Thanks for sharing...and I love that rig you have:thumbup:

Cool - that last shot is total eye candy man! If you tell me that is water in the background and not the hood of your car, I will pay homage to your camera-fu!!!! Enjoyed the trout pic too!

Thanks guys. I don't have to tell you guys how refreshing it is to get out and rejuvenate the soul, if you have one :)

Penns Creek is next
