leminy snickets series of unfortunate events - WHAT BOWIE IS THAT?!?

in the movie, count olaf shoves a reletively large (9-11" bladed) bowie into the door to scare the kids. the knife looked like a hand rubbed satin finish (that was really nice), and it had a single brass pin at the index area of the handle... not much else i can say about it....

just wondering if anyone knew what the heck it was
