Lemon Cutter for a customer

I call this a Lemon Cutter. The original design is something I developed with my brother's input (he's had some Escrima training) for a friend of ours that is a bar manager and prefers not to carry a pistol even though he has a CCW and is a former Marine. When people ask what it's for he tells them "cutting lemons"

This knife is going to one of my brother's employees that sleeps with a bat and knife next to her bed, this will be a major upgrade in defensive blades.

Specs:
1084 from that guy in Joisey named Aldo. Tortured with hammer and steel until it gave up the knife inside.
10 5/8 Overall
5 1/4 Cutting edge
3/16 spine, just at the front of the turk's head, the spine is tapered.
400x hand rubbed finish
The buffed part on the blade is from sharpening, I think it looks cool and the customer liked it (I sharpen the knives for my brother's barbeque restaurant and she likes the look.)
Lorien wrapped in hemp with leather lace turk's heads. The handle is better suited for scales but she wanted turk's heads and stuff, you can split someone's head with the point on the butt, my brother cracked a coconut with the original. Good thing he and I don't fight anymore
I tried a little carving and stuff on the sheath, doing that "Long/Dark" line and dot thingy :p . It was fun and something else I'm going to have to work on I guess.

As always comments good or bad are welcome.

Will, well shoot. I love it. Can't think of much else to say that pretty much sums it up for me.

i like it...look sgreat....i'd also like to see a dressed up version in wood.....great job....ryan:thumbup:

Sooo pointy!!! it kinda scares me it looks so sharp :p ..but I guess that's kinda the point (so to speak)
Very nice work. Looking forward to my EDK.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

It is VERY stabby. I stabbed myself in the belly twice while doing the turk's heads.... good thing I have ample belly armor :p

Rolf, how did the handle wrapping go?

I need to make a dressier version of this. I like it and one of these days I need to show you guys something more complex than my usual fare.

Thanks again for taking the time to look and comment.

NICE, looks like it will cut more than lemons, I also would like to see it with double guard and wood handles. Great combo with the sheath and fob.

Will, pretty little sticker. I like the fine chord wrap handle, it's much nicer looking that a fat parachord wrap. What did you coat the handle with? I like the dot/line thing on the sheath.

I didn't know you made knives, I thought you were here just to break chops ? :D

Thanks for the tip, Lorien!
My "mind altering substance" days are over...
except for an occasional blow of INFI dust.

Will---I missed your question. Pohan Leu is going to do the Hemp wrap. I will let you know how the handle turns out. We'll get a pic up.
Thanks, Will. ;)

Sam I used some slow set epoxy. The epoxy wears off during use leaving the hemp to become more grippy.

Why do you think I make fighting knives? From breaking chops :p

Thanks again for taking the time to look :D
