OK guys, this currency exchange is killing me. Most Busse knives are around the $500 mark give or take a couple of hundred.

Right now 500 USD convert to Australian dollars is just short of $700 (695). Y'all are killin me. I have actually stopped looking on the Busse Knives for sale board. (Not really)

Soooooo, I am proposing a Lend lease program for all us down here. Not sure of the details but I could start a list of name of victims of injust currency exchange (VOICE). Help us with our VOICE.

Lend Lease for bother Hogs.......fellow suffering Hogs please list what you think you would like to borrow from our US friends (we will send them back...probably not).

I would like to start my list. A simple request of a SAR 3 and MOAB. That should do. Thank you for you time
 
I can certainly sympathize. I'm in Canada, as many know. The exchange rate is very similar. Add to that local taxes & costum fees, + shipping costs, you get very close to the 1000$ mark. I choose my Busses VERY wisely. It's one main reason that I'm so glad for the BG.

..... Don't forget.... We all need pants for those knives......

..... However, wave an ASH-1 (in INFI) at me and I can guarantee that I'll loose all control!;)
 
Yeah pretty much !!!! I long for the days (just a couple of short years ago) when the $A = $1.03US +/- !!! I did make hay while the sun was shining though ;) ;)

We Aussie Hogs also need to be careful with our combined shipping, when the $A was up it was not so bad but now it is down the $US price drives the $A price of a couple of knives (the calculation includes shipping costs) close to or over the magic $A1000 threshold for Tax and Fees as they come in.
 
Don't worry, the US Dollar is inflated. When our national debt reaches 20-22 Trillion, the USD will drop in value for sure. It has to. Our politicians would rather use our tax money to build useless programs that filter money into their pockets than to pay the national debt. Here is a funny one. In 2008 Congress gave themselves a 15% raise. Then, they along with our president, proceeded to not give our military and other government workers any cost of living increases for the next 6 years. This included them as well, but since they had already preempted that by giving themselves a massive raise right before they screwed everyone, it did not matter. So in essence you have men and women who fight to keep their country safe who have not had a raise in going on 7-8 years while these fat leeches in our government have made money. Greedy Bastards. Go TRUMP/Cruz!!!

I too, see what you're up too;)

....however.... I need to be here for work. You might just have me as a neighbour, once I retire. No worries, I'll have enough $$$ to support myself. On top of that....we are a quiet,peace loving family. I do love my wine, beer, whiskey, and Rum.....and.....I don't mind sharing :D
