length of fixed blades

MA sets no legal limits on knife length. The is also nothing really about carrying concealed as long as it looks like a knife (i.e. no cane knives). That said, I have had police (when I was just a young lad) confiscate several knives saying that they were over the 4" law as measured oh-so-precisely against their palm. Fortunatly they never saw the Al Mar MAC-V-SOG commemorative I used to carry. I you use it as a weapon of course, that is a fellony. Also, no automatics, daggers, or balistics.
