This isn't really a knife review so much as it is a sheath review, but I guess the idea is the same.

Why does he use velcro on the belt loops for the horizontal carry sheath? Given the size of the sheath, belt loops the width of the sheath, sewn fairly tight should handle most belts except the widest and thinnest. If he wants it adjustable, this could easily be done with some classy leather lacing. Does it need the velcro for closing, or will the knife stay in w/o it?

i had the pocket holster and didnt like it one bit, shifted around in my pocket too much, i only carried it 3-4 times and it moved into the drawer w/other stuff i never use.

much prefer just clipping the knife to the pocket myself.

The velcro belt loop allows you to remove the sheath or reattach it without having to remove and rethread your belt.

I didn't have any problems with the inside-the-pocket sheath shifting, though the knife rattled around a bit because it was thinner than the cavity for it. I think the fit of the sheath inside the pocket of your pants is very dependent on the size of your pocket and how tight your pants are.
