Has anyone ever bent the hell out of a Diemaster 2 bandsaw blade while cutting a curve? Not real sure what the heck I did and haven't taken the blade off the bandsaw yet. The blade still cuts just fine, but kinda sways from side to side in the front where the cutting teeth are. Is there any fix on this or am i up the creek? Thanks in advance!

You might take the blade off or at least out from under tension and look it over for a semi crease in the blade. More of a bend really. Anyway you could try gently tapping it (them) out. If you see any place where the blade has actually cracked even a bit I would trash the blade.

Once in a while my wood band saw ( 3TPI carbide Woodmaster) will snag on a piece of mammoth and put a "kink" in the blade. I take two pair of flat jawed pliers, and holding the kink just above the start with one pair, I twist it straight with the other pair of pliers. Then I repeat again on the bottom of the kink. It takes a couple of adjustments, but you can usually get it straight.

I've had that..,and just keep on'o cuttin :) i find darn near every lennox blade has a kink at the weld.but they're still the best!

Thanks for the replies guys! lol, i took off the blade, layed it on the ground, and i'd say about 1/3 of it isn't even touching the floor! I then tried the same thing with a brand new blade and all of it lays flat on the ground. that will be fun trying to straighten! LOL. It's 133" long too. bah!
