I saw this design a year or so ago and I thought it was just the most aesthetically pleasing folding knife I've ever seen. I knew I had to have one. This one is one of the batch that Lee took to the Solingen knife show, where he won best folding knife design for it. It has blackwood scales, backspacer, and tang inlay, and bronze anodized Ti liners. Having it in hand I am even more pleased. The finishing is remarkable. Absolutely top notch. And here's the rub (sorry for the pun); it's not really a friction folder. The blade runs on phosphor bronze washers and has an open/closed detent. Neither the blade nor the tang touch the liners at all, so really it is a non-locking modern folder. I couldn't be happier with this one!

I really like this. The blade shape is imo brilliant for this style of folder.
