Sunday's edition of Tom Gresham's nationally syndicated Gun Talk Radio Show www.GunTalk.com will feature Les de Asis, President of Benchmade Knife Company, and Doug Ritter, Editor of Equipped To Survive and Chairman of the Equipped To Survive Foundation. The subject will be the poorly researched, highly biased and inflammatory anti-knife Wall Street Journal article that ran this past Tuesday, "How New, Deadly Pocketknives Became a $1 Billion Business."

Les will be starting at 2:00 PM Eastern, 11:00 AM Pacific. Doug will follow at 2:30 PM Eastern, 11:30 AM Pacific.

Gun Talk is carried live (or delayed broadcast in a few cases) by over 100 radio stations nationwide, check your local listings. It can also be found on channel 144 on SIRIUS Satellite Radio and on a three hour delay on channel 166 on XM Satellite Radio. You can also listen live via streaming audio on the Web from a number of sources including www.KBNP.com and www.KSBN.net

what's going to happen to the fixed blade that Becker was supposed to produce?

That all depends on what happens to Camillus. Once that issue is resolved, you can be assured that the RSK Mk2 / BK12 is still very much still in play and at this point, ready to produce. If things hadn't gone south at Camillus just when they did, it would have been being delivered as we speak. Unfortunately, considering the current situation at Camillus, I doubt it will be this year. And, no, I have no comment on the situation at Camillus other than to say I am disappointed and dismayed. :-(

I thought the FB was going to be produced by Benchmade?
Two totally different projects, two very different knives. Hot news on the Benchmade fixed blade project very, very, very soon.

can anyone tell me what time that is GMT? I'm rubbish at working it out

I didn't think you got the sort of crap these guys are responding to in the US

I just tried submitting my email address and I get a server error message.

****Edit****
Thanks Doug. I was able to get it to work. I had to do if from the url: www.uskta.org. If I did it from the url: http://uskta.org, then it would fail.

Good job on the show, Doug!

Please just try again. I just checked and it is working and folks are signing up.

<shrug> Not sure what's happening, other than perhaps the server is burping. Getting lots of sign-ups. Send an email by clicking on my name and that should work regardless. We're just starting with this, going 100 MPH, and I'm afraid some hiccups are inevitable.

THANKS very much for your support

Well, I suppose the bottom line is would you eventually want to join the organization and pay dues?

Note that the third segment also included call-ins on the topic and the president of Taurus Firearms, Bob Morrison, also had some spot on comments. Worth listing to all three segments.
