Hey guys,

Aside from collaborations, is Les up to anything these days?

Back in 14-16 when I was really active around here, the Talos/VECP were all of the rage. Used to see them pop up on the forum all of the time, for sale or for discussion. Don't hear much about him anymore.

I've always liked his designs and never got the chance to buy one.
 
Look up Defiant 7 knives....its a brand he created in collaboration with Chad Nichols. He also had several successful designs with ZT in recent years.

Yeah he seems to be busy. He got activity on his Instagram. Lots of incredible daggers and yes, smatchets!
You can also try to grab the most excellent ZT 0900 and 0920 if you can't wait.

Definitely looking forward his next stuff.

If Cap America was a knife maker, he would be Les George I think :)
 
I recently lucked into a Talos and an ESV. Great knives.
The ZT 0900 was a nice one too.

I bought a VECP from him at blade 2015. Loved it.
Sold it for a grail. But still wish I had it. XHP a strange semi dark cerakote that I wasnt sure of at first. But it grew on me. Detent was perfect. Some were super right some too loose, this one was perfect.
Depends if I can find one like it and have the right detent. If I can I would totally drop the 450 again. Loved that knife. Perfect bladeshape for me. XHP was great too. Held a very agressive working edge a long time!
 
Thanks for the pics, reminded me of why I wanted one of his pieces to begin with! I'll check out his IG.

That inlaid Talos is sweet. He has a custom with "morph" scales on his site, omg....

I’ve been hunting a Les George for a few years but they were always too expensive or I just missed snagging them. I stumbled on these just over the past few months for pretty good prices: Talos for $280 & and ESV for $250. I was very happy to add them to my collection.

The ESV is definitely one of my favorite folders. It is basically either that or a Chris Reeve of some kind clipped in my pocket.

Wow! Great deal on those knives!
 
I just picked up a Talos with the monkey edge frag pattern off the exchange. Was not in the market for a new knife, but I’m weak and couldn’t pass it up. I’ll post pics when I receive it.
