Anyone have any from him? I ran a search but didn't find much in the way of info, mainly "for sale" threads.

I completely love the way these two knives look:

Especially this one because it's bigger:

Problem is there are none of the Abrams left. Does anyone know off hand how you go about placing an order? Can he make whatever you want or do you pick from a list? He doesn't show many on his site, is there anywhere I can look at a bunch of folders he's made? I guess I could e-mail him but thought I might get a faster response here during the weekend.

he has a website, lesvoorhiesknives.com and also has a sub-forum on another The Usual Suspects. I currently have an order in with him and his work is simply amazing. goodluck on your quest, those abrams are mighty nice :)

Thanks, his site doesn't show too many folders though, I was hoping to see a history of what he's done. The two knives I posted aren't on his site, I was wondering if he's done more of this style.

When your ordered, could you "piece" it together/tell him what you wanted, or was it based on what he planned on making and you just picked from a list?

i mentioned what i wanted to do with one of his knives and he helped me decide on length, etc.

the abrams you have shown above were from a sprint run so i don't know if he'll remake them or not. Those had 5" blades and 11" OAL. Quite a large knife for sure.

Contact Les, he'll hook you up.

Not sure where you live, but Les is always at the St. Louis Gateway knife show. It is Jan. 22nd/23rd.

Les does great work and I am sure taking orders.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping, that he'd work with me and let me kind of "spec out" what I wanted. I'd actually be thrilled with the top knife, if it had a bit longer blade (maybe 3.5") so we'll see. I'll send him an e-mail.

I'm in PA so I don't see me ever getting over there :(
