First, thank you Jerry, for making an amazing knife, thank you Amy for your legendary customer service, thank you everyone at Busse Combat!!!
It arrived this morning, all resealed by the customs bods who clearly had a very good look at it - I hope they liked it, and I really hope it drew blood
It's simply an amazing knife. Everything I read here about how good the SFNO is, has turned out to be true, and then some!
Balance is perfect, just a fraction blade-side of the talon hole.
I love the hand-shaped micarta mags, I know what I'm ordering in future.
The handle colours are great. Watching the threads about handle variation, I was hoping that I would get a nice one. I certainly did. Not that I think there are any not-nice ones, but mine are perfect!
We're always hearing, 'this is the sharpest Busse yet.' Doesn't really matter to me as I'll always make it 'mine' by sharpening it anyway. But, This is the sharpest Busse out of the box yet!
Enough waffle; on to the photos, with a couple of friends. I love the contrast between the well fondled tiger handles on my ASH-1, and the brand-spanking-new SFNO in the last photo:
