I think the LE SJ's actually had "Limited Edition" on them. Does yours have that text?

If not, it might simply be a satin finished SJ, not part of the LE run.

i also had one :( should of kept it

mine way also 1/4" satin finish, black paper, and sterile so it probably wasn't that rare of a blade imo.

I did a search and came up with these pics. The knife once belonged to AliAss and he told the story that his one got out of the shop without engraving the number, just the Busse Combat logo....... any other clues?

Some SJ LE's had on the right side either "Satin Jack LE" or "Satin Jack Limited Edition", with both followed by the #. I have seen a picture of one that had the # on the ricasso on the left side.

Earlier SJ LE's had the full height grind, and apparently were 1/4"; later ones did not have the full grind, and were 3/16". Some LE's had the silver-colored tubes, and some were brass.
