It seems like a lot more knives are being released with coated blades. I know some people like that. I don't. Often, it ends up being a deal-breaker for me. I don't like black clips either. I don't even like black hardware most of the time. Unfortunately, this can mean skipping a knife entirely or having to bet on a swap project.
While a satin finish is better than coated, a stone-washed finish can be even better. Besides looking pretty or gently sparkling in sunlight, it always seems to wear better to me. As the blade takes on scratches from use, those scratches don't stand out as starkly. A tumbled finish can occasionally bolster ergonomics too as it tends to promote softer lines.
So
WE Knife Media
, could y'all help us to get more non-coated stone-washed options?
