less is more scandi knife

Here is a knife i made. Less is more i think sometimes. The handle i made from old oak and brass bolster. The blade i made from carbon steel with some filework. What do you think??

I agree that sometimes less is definitely more. Great knife

I like it a lot. Very simple but yet very beautiful as well. The only thing I would change would be that I would extend the filework all the way down to the guard and I like to put my thump where you have no jimping sometimes.

I think it looks great and would like to try to make one myself. a few questions. how do you get epoxy into the handle before putting the tang in? how do you put pressure on the blade to hold it in the handle while drying? how did you color the oak wood?
