Well, I’ve finally done it. Just ordered my first Sebenza, a small classic with wood inlay (Lignum Vitea), double thumb studs and a polished hollow grind. Heck, if your going to do it, you may as well go whole hog :D

That’s the good news, the bad news is that it is going to take 6-8 weeks to arrive.
I know it is going to be worth it, but I just wondered if anybody had any tips on how to remain patient ?
And before anyone mentions it, I've just finished readding every thread on this forum for the last 60 days :D Unfortunately it only took 30 minutes

i also have a sebbie on order. the secret is to completely forget about it. otherwise you will just make yourself miserable. and when you get the urge to call crk to check on your order forget about that too.

How can you possibly forget about it ???????????????????

My second sebie arrived last thursday and I am allready trying to decide on the next one.

One advantage of the delay is that it gives you time to save up for someting you could not afford when you ordered it :D

Yeah, this is habit I know at least I can't kick. I have a custom large regular Sebbie with anodized graphic, stainless Damascus blade and extra flat ground BG-42 blade with duel silver studs, swedge, and a pearl inlay that should be ready in a couple weeks. Not to mention that I had to wait almost 2 years for the stainless Damascus to come in. Man...talk about patience:rolleyes:

I have to admit thought antisipation is half the fun.

Your going to love your new WIS(wood inlayed Sebenza). Better start thinking about you next one, and get it on order!:D

K-guy,
You got stainless damascus? What pattern did you get? Raindrop, ladder pattern, random? Is it Devin Thomas or Mike Norris? Please, I gotta know. If it wouldn't be a problem, I'd really like to see some pics when it comes in.

Thanks,

Jason
