300Bucks had a post that had a lot of 315 pictures in it, but they are gone now. In that post, he mentioned 4 black versions.
1) sawcut - with tang Buck/Made In/USA - 315 on pile side (1971?)
2) sawcut - With tang Buck/315/USA (1972 to 1986?)
3) smooth - no bolsters - with rivets (1987 to 1997?)
4) smooth - no bolsters - hidden rivets (1987 to 1997?)

In particular, for that group, I'd like to see #4. There are also a handful of ivory micarta versions with the America's Cup as the theme. Additionally, I've seen a few customs. I'll attach the ones I have. I also have #3 but I haven't received it yet.

Thanks for starting this thread. You have some wonderful/hard to find 315s.
I had Leroy Remer put this one back together with ram's horn scales.

Here’s my 315 Yachtsman - version with the double backsprings. Look at that price tag! $24 from the USNA Midshipman Store in 1996. I’m 99% certain this is the second Buck knife I ever bought for myself (I had a handful from dad, grandpa, and found a Yearling with blade open laying on a deer path along a Pennsylvania trout stream, and had bought myself a FishLocker). This 315 rode in this Uncle Mike’s mag pouch on my belt sailing a 44’ sloop from Annapolis to Maine, and back. Twice. And a bunch more day sails. It would be an exaggeration to say that this Yachtsman saved my life since we had dry suits, a deployable life raft, and an EPIRB, but it most definitely played a key role in saving the sailboat in one particularly bad squall.
