I haven´t shown anything here in a while, so here is one I just finished.
It has a 1/4" thick, 10" long 5160 steel flat ground blade sellectivelly heat treated by my friend knifemaker Ariovaldo Lopes and satin finished.
The handle is maple wit stainless 1/4" pins and the sheath is very thick leather finished to match approximatelly the handle color and decorated with some light tooling.
This is the second large trailing point camp knife I ever made and I am very satisfied with the results - it is not light in any way but perfectly balanced for heavy duty chopping.
