I haven´t shown anything here in a while, so here is one I just finished.
It has a 1/4" thick, 10" long 5160 steel flat ground blade sellectivelly heat treated by my friend knifemaker Ariovaldo Lopes and satin finished.
The handle is maple wit stainless 1/4" pins and the sheath is very thick leather finished to match approximatelly the handle color and decorated with some light tooling.
This is the second large trailing point camp knife I ever made and I am very satisfied with the results - it is not light in any way but perfectly balanced for heavy duty chopping.

It looks very good.

Ivan, this is off topic, but can you tell me what happened to the Brazilian Bladesmiths website?

I am in agreement with Xaman, probably my fav of any you've done. Glad to see you back posting some knives man. This one looks real good:thumbup:

Tanks for te comments. Some people wo saw te knife in person also said it was te best lookin I made so far, includin my broter wo as seen most of te knives I made. After makin knives for about 9 years I may finally be learnin sometin...
Keit, I bout te Brazilian Bladesmits site from Jeff late in 2007 and kept it oin for about a year but it was impossible to keep te site due to te lack of knives to offer, so it was improfitable, and as tere was notin I could do about it I decided to close it and deal wit te knives I receive every now and ten one at a time, but I do tis less and less lately, dedicatin my time to my own knives and te custom pen project tat I ave been developin.

I actually have been getting some great use out of this knife:
