They hold so tight they are a pain in the butt to carry on the pocket. I like to never got the knife in or out my pocket.

I've not observed this about G-10. Mine seemed to come out as well as handles of micarta. DM

I've never carried mine, but I can see what you are saying just from handling it.

Want a real pocket shredder? Try the Vantage Force Avid, Those aluminum scales can be used to shape wood or rasp a horses hoof!

Man I'm going to have to figure something out. This is a bummer I really don't want to carry the sheath. I've grown to having a big knive in my pocket. The pocket clip is the best invention since the wheel lol. But seriously this thing will not going in or come out the pocket without a fight.

I think all you gotta do is lightly sand the surface. May want to check with some experts first though. I have the fixed blade CSAR-T w/G-10 handles & love it. You could also try bending the pocket clip out a little or curling the end of it a little more, so it slides on easier without gripping the fabric so much. I did that with my CS RECON 1. Worked like a charm.

I had to bend the pocket clip out on mine. It did help. A word of warning bend it out in small increments, if you go to far you will have a problem bending it back. I know I almost over bent mine.

Do try sanding the surface under the clip as TwinStick suggested. The G10 on my Buck/Strider Tarani worked best as a cheese grater.

I know what you mean. I removed the pocket clip. I dont use them cause my hand cant fit in my pockets with a knife in the way, but pocket carrying it I found the clip bending out at the bottom dug into my leg.

Unfortunately, it seems the trend lately, has been (for non-knife people & some law enforcement) to look FOR a visible clip & then ask "why are you carrying a weapon". It happened to me at a gas station while i was holding my money visible in my hand, to pre-pay for gas. I asked "what weapon". She said "that weapon clipped inside your pocket." I laughed & said "thats not a weapon, it is a tool." She then asked what i use it for. I told her i use it to cut things & then asked her what she uses a knife for, she gave the same answer. I laughed again & said "see, we have a lot in common then." It is not illegal to carry a folder where i live. There is no blade limit. People & law enforcement get confused because NY CITY has a limit/law, as of now, it does not apply to the rest of NY State.
