One of my earliest models, the Hiker`s Backup, from 2008.

2 3/4" blade of 1/8" O1 steel, 5 3/4" OAL.

Does it still count if its an 'HK' ?

This was my very first JK purchase and its what sold me on JK knives.

Now I have close to a dozen and still looking forward to many more!

HK's count too. It does not look like there will be any more of them in the near future.

These are my first few JKs - all in Maple Burl. The Kephart was the first, the Combat/Survival was the second, then the Bowie followed by the Knatchet and finally the RWC.

I gave away the RWC, but have kept all the others. The Kephart sees the most use (it's lying on my hearth next to a ZT0180) -

All great knives that will last several lifetimes if well maintained.
