Let there be light ...

I just bought a new toy. It's a small torch, (American translation: flashlight), of the LED variety. It's made by some mob called Led Lenser. The torch is called a V2 Micro Moon. Slightly curious name but what the hell. All the stuff on the box it came in was written in German so I assumed it was another bit of fine German craftsmanship. When I got it and read the fine print I saw: 'Made in China'. Ahh well, what the hell isn't made in China these days!

Anyway, it's about half the size of my Inova X1 and produces as least, if not more, light. Blue.

It uses four of those little "camera" batteries, can't think of what they're called right now.

Saw some of those at a gun show about a month ago, they're a subdivision of Coast. Not bad at all for the money, one of the LEDs they had there gave my Surefire L4 a run for it's money in terms of light output.
