Hello,
I'm originally from Texas and my father has gifted me two knives from his collection that were made by a local knife maker. I am now the proud owner of a 7 inch Bowie knife and a small three inch knife with a curved handle which is for skinning game.
Both have "Letcher Knives" that is bookended by two stars. I am having trouble posting pics on this forum at the moment... The knives look like high quality knives but their sheaths have been lost after 2-3 moves. I believe my dad was collecting heavily in the late 80's to early 90's so these pieces are most likely from that timeline.
I am just trying to find out more about the knife maker but online information is limited. Is he still in business? If so, can he be contacted? That kinda thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
