Let's see your fully spelled words!

(At least in a subject header here in Traditional...?)

Deal?

Here is a Strawberry Bone handled Robeson 622061 slim serpentine trapper, very much like a Case 048. This knife dates 1948 to 1959.

Here's a pic of my GEC 048 Slimline trapper in tractor red bone. It's patina could be a little better ( my fault) , but aside from that the fit and finish of this knife is excellent and among the best I've seen on a production slip joint.

Well, you know Trappers come in a variety of sizes, everything from "Tiny" at 2 1/2" to "Banana" at 5 3/8" closed.

But they are all pretty skinny. That part don't change.

I'm sorry for my spelling errors!

I appreciate your posts and your perspective, and am now used to seeing your text shortcuts in your thread messages. I just thought I'd put a gentle encouragement out there for spelled-out words in subject titles. (See the smilies?)

There are two trappers here, tiny and mini (which isn't, by my standards):

Slim as their clip mains are, however, they are proportionally thicker than a slimline, single-bladed trapper seen as in others' pictures. OP, is it slimlines specifically you are after?

Here's the only single-blade trapper I have on hand, the John Lloyd I'm holding for my son-- hefty-handled but with a svelte blade:

This Scagel Fruitport is the only one I have that would qualify as skinny.

Very nice Don. I'm particularly drawn to the one you made! Go figure!
That Case on the bottom (1st pic) looks like it's been used and sharpened a few times.

Well, that was pretty rude. I got it right away. Are you saying nobody else has ever used abbreviations in the tag line (title line)?

Don't worry about it Kid. Just keep up the interesting posts.

Oh, here's one of my trappers. // CV 4 1/8" 3254 Case Trapper with yellow composite covers // It's not too skinny but it'll do.

Thanks, I'm drawn to customs too. ;)

The bottom Case was carried many years before I got it and I've carried a number of years. It's as XX, so pre-1965. The blade steel is pretty soft in that one and I plan to replace the blade, as I love the slim frame and bone!

John Lloyd in stag and 52100 steel.

No longer mine, but S&M made a nice one 20 years ago.
