So I'm thinking, let's cheat on the SFNO LE deal. Wouldn't it be funny if a bunch of us HOGs conspired to beat the system and get those big multi-knife discounts.

What I'm thinking is that a bunch of us should get together, figure out the total number of knives we want, and each submit an order for the total number that we all want. Then the first one to get the winning e-mail submits the order for everyone and then sends out the knives to the other conspirators when they come in. Each of the others pays for their knives, plus postage and a proportionate share of the non-discounted knife, and the one who submitted the winning bid gets the low number knife and the honor of fronting the money, accepting he shipment, and distributing the knives to the other players. The others with winning bids could either cancel their orders, or buy a whole bunch of extras for themselves. But however it works, everybody who participates gets a better chance of scoring something, and also gets the benefit of the extra $60 discount.

And the best part is that Jerry can't complain, because he told us to do it.
 
Are you saying that you would trust your Hog order to another Hog who is most likely going to act Hog-like and leave your particular order off? ;)

Yeah, but all that happens is the overloaded order goes to the back of the line. With this plan, at least one complete order goes through. As long as I'm not the winner, he'll never even suspect. (Apart from the fact that there would be a whole bunch of orders fro the same large number of knives.)

How is this cheating? It's gaming the system, but not cheating.

I won't be trying for an SFNO LE, but I wish you all success.
 
My shadowy HOG organization is already in for 240. You guys better be in the first 5 seconds :eek::eek::eek::D
