When I start making this piece I was not sure with the scales. but now, after having the balls to grind 80% of the sambar pattern I am absolut happy. the scales are 0ne millimeter wider than the handle. sorry, don't know how to explain in English. overall 230mm , 105mm blade made from 3 steel damask with 280 layers
